A side-effect of living for centuries as I have-- on occasion, time slips past you and you sometimes forget to speak.
I had a look back in on the ongoing manga canon of my fandom, and have decided at last to give up entirely on anything truly impressive happening. It has finally reached its five hundredth chapter and Naraku, my nemesis and that of Inuyasha's, is not even slightly closer to being vanquished. In fact, the entire plot right now can arguably be summed up as this:
Fans I know have jokingly suggested changing the name of the series to 'Tessaiga.'
They were completely right and I should have seen it earlier.
I believe I will now go into mourning. I shall return eventually.
