Catch up
Ok, so here is another rare post just to let you all know what i'm getting up to.
Firstly, i just found that the resit exam timetables are up and my exam is 18th August, so i should really start revision and stuff now... :(
but it is good to know, i was getting worried that i had not found the right magic link to tell me such information.
I'm currently 'home alone' as Dave and his Dad have gone to Wales for the Ffestiniog railway kids week. I would have gone with them, but things have happened such that i can't. It is complicated, but i have got a 'job' for this week in Northampton. I don't really want to say much about it due to the complicated way in which it arose, it is a confidentiallity thing, so please don't ask.
But yay, i have a job for a little while at least. So that is good, my bank account might like me again. If anyone wants to get in touch with me, i will be staying in Northampton without internet, so use my mobile number.
what else...oh yes! Maelstrom:
It was possibly my favourite event so far! highlights:
1. almost dying in the attack on Greenfield shores
2. Being saved by Primus in that most cunning of ways - playing dead!
3. Watching as several nutters pulled a massive 'foundation stone' to the centre of the field
4. Governor Balurion's (Maya) face when he saw i was still alive after he thought me dead - he is a good friend, so it was all good, but was the biggest double take ever!
5. The honour parade for the dead and the excellent party/wake afterwards
bad points:
1. Heat was making me dehydrated no matter how much i seemed to drink!
2. Massive hangover/dehydration the morning after the wake, knocked me out for most of sunday, but was kinda worth it!
Anyway, all is good, i'm looking forward to the next maelstrom, and starting my job, but that is all for now.
