Bleh.

Seems like all attempts to sell all the excess stuff at mom's house has been epic fail. I was depending on selling some stuff so I could pay taxes, but I guess that's not going to happen. Tried to sell the curio on craigslist and had a potential buyer, but then she went out and just bought a new one without bothering to call and tell me. Stupid bitch. Tried to sell the dining room set there too, had a couple of people interested and then they fell off the face of the earth it seems. Morons, the lot of them. The piano issue still hasn't been solved yet either and I'm still hoping those people want to buy it. If not it goes to the next person who showed interest.

What really sucks is that most of the shit could've been kept at the house. It didn't sell at auction and now we have until the 24th of this month to get more shit out. I just wish I knew more people who were in need of things. We have no need for another dinning room set, nor a curio cabinet. Nor any furniture of the sort really. Though having the extra time gives me a chance to get someone in there to look at the antique bedroom set; which if it doesn't get taken by an interested party will end up remaining there, sadly. Nice set too from the 30-40's we just don't have a use for it and have no place to store it.

*sighs*

I really need a con or something. -_- Or a vacation. Sad thing is that I can't afford one. Every time I think I'm ahead of the game something keeps me from getting there. If it wasn't for effing taxes I'd be able to save some money. Sadly, the extra money I'll get in this paycheck will go towards that -which I'll have to pay on installments anywhere which is going to cost me a fee. Damn government and their effing fees for this. They take enough of our money as it is. Hope everyone enjoys their supposed stimulus additions to their checks when that happens. I won't get to benefit from it. Ole Barry would've done better to give everyone a tax holiday this year; that would've stimulated the economy instead of what he's doing.

Ah well...life goes on.
