Gah!
Hurricane Ike went through Houston like a hot knife through butter. And we're STILL reeling from the aftermath.
I have no power whatsoever and it could take up to 2 weeks to a month before we get it back.
haylzee, I promise you we will get that story of ours written. Maybe we can start posting it around Halloween? If you can also tell Sophia or anyone else that might be wondering where I am, that would be great--especially the people waiting on my next chapter of Waiting. I promised them a new update and I didn't follow through. Please let them know what is happening. Thanks. :DDDD
Anyway, it's basically my family and I sitting in the dark at night sweltering away because of the heat. We do have an outside stove so we're cooking hot food at least. I am thankful we are alive and our home is intact! Our fence wasn't so lucky. :(
A lot of other people were not so fortunate either.
If you guys can pray just a little for all of the people that Ike hit, that would be awesome! Anyway, I'm on a computer at the library, so I've got to get off now. Until I see you all again.
Love you all,
Nightshade (Rashida)
