Happy Birthday to my Mom!
My dear mom is 70 years old today. She got up this morning and I made her scones, sausages and eggs. So many family and friends are calling her too. My uncle called from Trinidad and apologized to her for missing the actual day and my mom was like: "Um, but it is the right day." Then she and he realized that he was apparently looking at a calendar from 2009. LMAO! Anyway, now we're going to watch The Crow in a little bit since we both like gothic horror and action. :) Later on I'm going to go pick up some Chinese food for dinner b/c that's what she wants to eat today. I wish I could throw a big party for her, but I don't have the money for it. :(
All in all it's a good day so far. It's gone up to 64 degrees here in Houston--which is a relief after those 30 and 40 degree days we've been uncharacteristically having lately. Plus it's sunny.
Hopefully this will inspire me to get back to writing my fanfics. I've been so lazy it's not funny. So many ideas whirling about my brain, and for some reason, I sit down at the computer and don't want to write them out. What kind of fresh hell is this? O_o
Anyway, the movie is starting now, so I've got to run.
