YEEEAAAAA!!! Ericka is now monitorless. No SVT, Bradycardia or apnea for 2 months so the cardiologist, neonatologist and pediatrician said it could go bye-bye. Now maybe her underarms can heal and she is not wasting any time advancing. She is getting up on her knees and arms and rocking back and forth. This only 3 days after she was off the monitor. She is currently under the weather though, she has a sinus infection and an eye infection but she still smiles.
We went and got haircuts the other night, I got another 10 inches cut off and donated to Locks of Love. This makes donation 4of 9 for me. Little man is growing his hair out so he can donate it too. His hair is more or less the same length as mine now, we are going to race to see whose can get longer quicker.
Alli is getting along great in her ballet lessons. She is very exuberant and keeps the instructor on her toes. She is getting a bit more green eyed towards Ericka though. I was videotaping Ericka rocking on her hands and knees and Alli kept getting right in the camera and when I sent her to her room she slammed the door and cried the whole time. Other than that she is being a typical 5 year old. I am hoping to be able to teach her to ride her bike without training wheels this summer.
I injured my back and neck this last week and haven't been to work since the 19th. i am going to go tomorrow even though I still have limited range in my neck. Kind of scary to not be working when you are the income provider. The Dr gave me lortab and said to rest, yeah right moms don't get to rest and the lortabs made me loopy so you know I am not going to use them, plus they make Ericka sleepy because she gets it through my milk. Saw the chiropractor today and he gave me an adjustment and was able to "crack" all seven vertebrae (at least that is what it sounded like) man that felt good. Hoping that is actually all I needed.
Sooo very tired, haven't been sleeping well this week. Between the injuries, sinus infection, sick little one and then to top it all off Johns grandpa had a triple bypass yesterday. He is in recovery now and doing fair. The surgeon wasn't sure how he would do, when he was admitted his heart was functioning at only 20%. We were told that most people don't pull through with that much damage but grandpa is to stubborn to let go that easily. He came through the surgery fine and now all we can do is wait and see how he does over the next 2 weeks. Grandma has reverted to almost a childlike state ans has to be coaxed to eat and take care of her needs. If grandpa doesn't pull through you can tell grandma won't be here too much longer after that.
Ok lightening up the mood, Ericka's blessing is Sunday most of my family will be there, Cathi of course is in Virginia so she can't be there and Oscar is in Washington. Randy, who is like a dad to John is going to do the blessing. It'll be quite interesting to say the least, we can't do anything traditionally. The baby blessings are usually done when the baby is amonth old or sooner, Ericka is 7 months old. Garrett was 18 monhs and Alli was 13 Months. Well it is late and I am getting loopy. i will see you later, Lachshi ti rat me Moras.
