The skilled nursing place told us that if we can provide proof of Valkyrie's (my inlaws' very spoiled German shepherd) shots, we can bring her to visit. So we took Dad/dog to the vet this morning to get her shots, then we all went over to visit Mom. She was thrilled to see Valkyrie; she hadn't seen her since last Fri when Dad took Mom to the regular hospital. They even allowed Valkyrie to come into Mom's room, and they had told us at the regular hospital that they wouldn't do that; they'd only let Mom visit her on one of the outside porches. So it was a great visit all around.
