[Joe is a floor or two below, sitting cross legged on the building's rusted iron fire escape, picking off flecks of bubbling black paint and letting them fall into the alley below. He should be thinking about heading inside soon, and making sure the window is sealed tight, but he'd sooner have a little more time to himself.

...He's not sure, sometimes, where the need to have some time alone comes from. Maybe it's Riku's habit. Sometimes, he'd feel the urge to break it just to be contrary, but for now he doesn't mind.

A shadow from the low hanging sun falls over him, and he cocks his head at the familiarity of shape...that jagged look-

Those are Zexion's bangs.

He plants his hands behind him, and tilts his head back to peer straight up.]

Hey! What are you doing up there?
