[ while he can't exactly move from place to place, at least Wheatley's frame allows him 360° swivel visibility - which is not being put to great advantage right now, the shutters over his iris lens shut tight as if against the sunlight.
But, when he hears a voice, they blink wide open, staring up at a strange human he's never seen before. For a millisecond, he think it's her but... no, and his gaze drops a tiny bit
before snapping up again. ]
... Um, hello! Who- I mean, what- [ he tries to look around, but a vantage point on the ground isn't very informative. Wheatley gives up, and looks back at the human. ] Are you actually... talking to me?
[Fred really didn't expect anything to drop from above. And it talked. With rounded eyes, she bent over it. This was quite intriguing for an engineering mind.]
I. I think so. At least- well, you're not, a visual malfunction or anything, are you?
[ ... that's an unpleasant thought. ]
Oh god. [ nervous: ] Um, I know this is all very sudden and all but, check my lens, would you? [ opens his "eye" very wide for inspection! ] Is it broken, smashed, damaged in any way? Because that was a loooong fall.
[ I guess he just crash-landed through the ceiling then. Wheatley freezes at the sound of that voice, oh nonononono, was it her, it sounds awfully like her-
It is her.
The sight makes Wheatley regret ever opening his eye shutters. ]
Y-Yeah, it's... it's me again. And- it's you again, isn't it, hahaha... [ he's going to die, he is going to die. ] Can I say you look, really dashing? I'm sorry, that potato wasn't the greatest look for you, so can we just put that behind us. Please?
No no no no no, someone catch me, catch me AAAAAAaaaaaah-
[ something spherical hits the ground, bounces, bounces, rolls to a stop in front of you. ]
..... Ow.... [ groan. ] Bloody... ow...

[She blinks back at him before peering down and looking at the lens.] Nope. No cracks; it's at its optimum performance, I'd say.
Sorry I didn't catch you or anythin'. I just wasn't expectin' you to fall out of no where.
