Hector 'Pancho' "Frank" Villa
March 18, 1927 - Oct. 9, 2004

A funeral service honoring Hector "Frank" "Pancho" Villa, 77, of Vacaville, will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at McCune Garden Chapel in Vacaville. A visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

Hector died on Oct. 9, 2004, in Roseville. He was born March 18, 1927, in Richmond. He served in the United States Navy for 22 years. He was a WWII and Korean War veteran and then retired from Chevron USA after 21 years. Always active, he was a member of the Fleet Reserve, American Legion, Veteran of Foreign Wars, 40 & 8, Native Sons and a 36-year member of the Elks. He was an avid 49er fan and loved to golf with friends.

Hector is survived by his wife of 39 years, Mary Villa of Vacaville; a daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Phillip Salaices of Rio Linda; sons, Herbert Villa of New Jersey and Norman Villa of New York; brother, Ruben Villa of Sacramento; three beautiful grandchildren, Cameron, Kendall and Nicolas Salaicas of Rio Linda; and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Hector was a wonderful, loving, caring husband, father, grandfather and friend, who was always full of life and willing to help anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by everyone he touched.
