I haven't talked about this on here yet, but I should. A lawsuit was brought against Oral Roberts University at the beginning of this month. The lawsuit was for wrongful termination of three professors. IN the lawsuit they documented 42 counts of financial indiscretion at the hands of Richard and Lindsay Roberts (the president and his wife).
Real quick...for those of you that don't know. This is the charasmatic christian university that I attended for three years. The univeristy I finally left because I could no longer handle the stress of being outted and ousted.
Do I hold bitterness still? Maybe. Regardless, what surprises me is the ability for sins to be degreed in the eyes of christians. Being found out as gay would have gotten me kicked out of school. No questions. But the Roberts are accused of all of these things and the man refuses to step down from office and no matter how much people ask...he will not.
Until today...
Noone is really sure as of yet. But the man said live on Larry King that he wouldn't do it...and here we are.
I'm really hoping to get into some kind of class action suit at the moment. Money that I still owe was used for WHAT?!
