^ As to what I've said above it's completely true. Chapter 399 is supposed to be showing us another side of Madara. The more humane side I guess. The chapter is supposed to be tragic, dramatic and ansty.......
And yet I was laughing half the way through it.
I don't know somehow seeing Madara still in his Tobi gear was reminding of his earlier appearances in the series. And then when I remembered that, I remembered the whole "Tobi is a good boy" thing. It's become an immortal phenomenon in the Naruto fandom - no pun intended. And how can I forget the whole "Wohoo!" part he had with the Konoha 8?
And I guess that started the downfall of seeing the ansty drama in the chapter.
Then of course we had Madara talk about his brother - who looks suspiciously like Sasuke might I add. Re-incarnation anyone?
Of course then came the rant of Madara being betrayed by his family. And becoming an avenger. And leaving the village. *coughcough* Sasuke again? *coughcough*
That just ended any hope of me going back to a more sober mood to read the chapter. It was just too funny. Madara and Sasuke are just too alike, with their mannerisms, and now apparent past, for it to even be dramatic anymore.
Of course both of them are bound to notice it, being the geniuses they are. Wonder what will happen when Sasuke figures out that he may be a mini-me of Madara?
I can just see it now. In future confrontations with anyone when we see those two together. Madara for all his Tobi-esque ways will introduce himself, The Akatsuki, and then Sasuke.
*Starts laughing manically over the mental images*
"Hi, I'm actually Uchiha Madara, and the true leader of the Akatsuki." *points to Sasuke* "And this is my mini-me!"
Hmm I wonder if this might've actually been the reason that Itachi didn't want Sasuke to meet Madara.
It's official, Naruto has become my crack fandom
