(no subject)
You know, it's sort of funny that when you're reading House of Leaves, a novel known for being scary and a mindfuck on your laptop, your laptop starts hanging. And not in the usual way either. Nope it keeps fluctuating between open Firefox tabs, and Adobe Reader. It's funny in the: "Oh Shit, please stop fucking with the easily scared sick girl, while her aunt is watching a horror movie in the background. Stop timing the hanging and fluctuating to screams or ominous silences with creepy music. This book is already freaking her out, even if she loves it, and really she wants to be able to sleep tonight" way. And my laptop's never done this before.
Seriously, it's freaky.
Norma is evil, and is enjoying my discomfort.
ETA: OMG the scary movie Norma was watching just now was Final Destination 2 (aka AJ Cook.)
And now she's watching the Tamil dub of Baby's Day Out. It was one of my favourite movies as a kid and just now I realised Joe Mantegna acted in it.
