As much as I enjoy crack, I will not do a Sholay AU FMA fic. I will not. As to that, actually I will not do a Sholay AU of any anime fandom I enjoy.

I am not that insane yet, as to parody an iconic Bollywood movie, which I have never watched and never want to watch. I mean how would it even work?

I blame studies for this. Really half these insane

Right now, I'd be happy to finish at least ONE fic.. just ONE. I've been so anal about it. And tired DX

I'm reading through the entries for fma_fic_contest to vote, trying to finish reading DGM (chapter 96!) and oh yes - stalking for torrents for Episode 6... Life is good sans exams... well till my parents went all 'MBA? GMAT? Coaching classes?' Sigh. Two days of freedom, tis all I get? Bah.

I know Sholay isn't that awful (Hell if it can spawn intelligent parodies it can't be that god-awful.) But yes, FMA-Sholay. I already am halfway through casting the characters for the FMA one. Ed and Al and Jai and Veeru. Mei-chan is Basanti. Envy and Kimblee are still fighting for Gabbar's spot, because they threw Pride out of the competition long ago.

And if it wasn't enough, my mind wants to do a Bleach-Sholay too,and Saiyuki-Sholay. And my brain won't shut up about it.

(If my studies continues to to this to me I'll be dead before October. Damn you HSC Boards!)

Saiyuki-Sholay? Now I'm tempted to do this. Except I'd probably make it horrifically slashy not that Sholay isn't the original Heterosexual Life Partners from TVtropes.

Hakkai and Gojyo as Jai and Veeru? Sanzo would make an awesome Thakur, and maybe they could have a threesome with Yaone Kougaiji Kanan, who would, of course, be Basanti..... and I vote Chin Iisou for Gabbar, because it would be Fun. ^___^
