Hi everyone! This community has been a little quiet lately but I hope that is only because everyone is busy reading and rereading their copies of Casket of Souls. :]

So thank you! ♥ (I just think it would be a shame if the community just faded away into olbivion, especially since we have a new wonderful book to talk about)
Okay, so back to the issue: he's never mentioned, not once. I don't really think that he will suddenly be revealed at any time at all. I know what you mean with the little details that come together to one big picture... hold on, now that you mention it, it's true, she said it was someone gone off to war... hmm... but I think that revealing him would only be necessary if he was someone important, someone, I don't know, highborn or something like this. In that case it would have to be someone we don't know yet because who else is there? On the other hand, even if some man that fits all this shows up all of a sudden, how would anyone know he's the father, after all, it seems to me that he might not even know he has a son...

I think you and browncoatjack are right and the father of Luthas probably isn't that big of a point. If it were, he would probably have been revealed by now. Come to think of it, Luthas seems to fit in so well with the Cavishes that I'm not sure what could come of having his birth father show up randomly.

In fact, I think having Lutha's birth father show up might only cause trouble and heartache and I'd say the Cavishes had their fill of that in Casket of Souls and due to their constant worries about Beka being off fighting somewhere or another. So... better not ^^'
