Icons & Quotes
Hey everyone,
well, it seems the problem with those nifty bots is solved, we have a new mod and a nice new layout - but unfortunately it seems our little community is still in hibernation.
So I thought I'd try to put some life back into it today and to do that, I even come bearing gifts.
Icons!
Okay, they are not the most elaborately made ones and the pictures are still the same as ever (unless one of those nice people doing all the lovely fanart explicitly allows their work to be used for this), but maybe you'll find one to your liking.
Okay, so that's part one and part two is following proposal: let's have a little revision of the books by collecting our favourite quotes.
I hope someone out there cares to join me ^^
All right, let's first start with the promised icons, here you go:
So, I'll just start with the first quote then.

Caught sipping his wine, Alec choked as he began to laugh. He knew he shouldn't, but the wine was in him to the heart and he just couldn't help it. None of this sounded like the Seregil he knew.
Nysander shook his head ruefully. "The one sort of spell he really took to was shape changing, though I generally had to assist him. This time, however, he was determined to do it by himself and he turned himself into a brick - I believe he was trying for a horse at the time. In any case, there was the usual flash, then a thump, and there he was on the ground at my feet; an ordinary brick!"
