Hello!
I hope introductory posts are okay...I've been searching for ages for people to discuss this series with. xD If this isn't allowed please feel free to give me a good smack on the knuckles.
Anyway, hello, I'm Chey. I just started reading the Nightrunner series under the recommendation of someone on a literary critique comm and I fell in love with the first book right away. Sometimes, when I read a book, within a few pages I'll feel this 'spark' in the writing and know instantly that I'm in for a real treat. I felt that right away with Luck in the Shadows. ^^ I read every spare moment and after finishing it and finding to my disappointment that the bookstore where I work didn't have the sequels in stock, promptly ordered those and went back and re-read LitS. (The next two in the series should be arriving at work any day now! Though I may be a bit too hooked...Alec and Seregil both showed up in a random dream I had last night. xD Involving Seregil shape-shifting into a mouse and Alec running after him shouting, "Don't you understand that I love you?!")
I've read spoilers and reviews of the rest of the books in the series, which have only made me more eager to get to read them. I haven't read a series for awhile now that I was truly excited about, so it feels great to have discovered this one. =)
