I got through with my copy last night, so here are some of my thoughts on the end. *Is such a sheep*

Hmm, I don't think it was that Petunia loved Lily so much and wanted to go to Hogwarts with her. I think Petunia was jealous. If you notice, she didn't like it when Lily showed off even before Lily knew about Hogwarts. That also explains her utter distaste for the Wizarding world and anything associated with it. You would think, if she truly had affection for her sister, she wouldn't hate it all THAT much. It's like she wants to pretend it doesn't exist and that they're all freaks anyway in order to make herself feel better that she wasn't given magical talent ( ... )

I don't know, she was jealous, no two ways, but there had to be something redeeming in the relationship between the two girls enough for Lily to always refer to Petunia as 'Tuney ( ... )
