[And so, after the initial shock over Cheshire's arrival passes, Gilbert does the only thing he can think of right now that won't end in the other person ridiculing him for his fears; calling his brother.]

[He looks like his spirit has already partly detached, and judging by cramped up environment, he's cooped up in the supply closet in the bakery.]

[Have a big brother peeking out of a closet cautiously before jumping out and actually holding onto your coat, looking around frantically. You'd think he expects the cat to show up ANY MOMENT.]

[Yup, actually clinging back. Although right now he would probably do that with anything that isn't a cat. Even a bloodthirsty carnivorous bear. So an own brother isn't a stretch at all.]

[There's a dry, bitter chuckle, a sort that you rarely hear from Gilbert. That just might be that cruel part of his shining through for a moment.]
