Peaceable Kingdom Tonight
There's nothing like listening to little bunny feet patter around the house while they play.
Thor and Freya are getting along splendidly. They play follow the leader, both take turns following each other. Then they sit next to each other and munch on dandelion leaves or groom. Freya gave Thor some kisses on his chin today which he seemed pleased to receive. We haven't gotten in to any hardcore grooming each other just yet, but I can see it coming.
Freya is still a little piddler if you don't watch her super closely. She's just young, but I brought her pan closer to where she was hanging out, and that seemed to solve it entirely tonight. I just have to remind Chris to do that when he's watching her.
I think I'll mess with posting pictures this weekend. I have a few on the phone and a few on the camera. :) Good times.
I really like having two bunnies. I still give Thor extra alone time for about an hour or so before bed. I don't want him to think he is going to be neglected, particularly so early on when she is so tiny and draws the most attention. Thor and I had a nice relaxing petting session on the couch tonight too. He did a full out bunny sprawl with back feet kicked out next to me and wanted to be pet all over, not just ear rubs. That's always nice. I did notice he's shedding more, so I plucked the tufts but he didn't stay put for the brush. Oh well...
Once Freya gets fully housebroken they will both hang out until bed. I look forward to having two bunnies on the couch with me. :)
It was a super busy day at work- 'tis the season. I was so exhausted and sore earlier I fell asleep on the couch for a couple of hours. Chris tried to wake me up, but I had no part of that. Then he dozed off kind of curled up to me for a little bit too. I like having such a low key sweetie in my life.
