End of the long weekend left me bummed, should have stayed home --

I mean not really. The show I played in Glendale was alright...Vaginals and a Lacoste were great. I felt my set was kind of uncomfortable and trebly, so I kind of disapointed myself. Plus Rich from Clark 8 didn't make it down, which was a bummer. It was fun talking with Margot, Peter and Rob. Really, why can't I hang out with Margot all the time?

I went to Old Baldy in Upland and caught the Voice on Tape full band set, which was pretty great, but Lou needs to keep those Jesus Makes the Shotgun Sound dudes in check, keep 'em from wanking all psychedelic while they're setting up. It was hard to sit through the set up - it took a long time and one of the guitarists was repeating an annoying riff over an over. Psychedelic shit gets put up there on the short list of genres that are dead to me along with drone and harsh noise. The set was good though Baldy shut the band down after they went over their time.

I'm missing Jamie a lot, and it bums me out at night especially, even though I'm surrounded by friends and I got people I don't know coming up to me and telling me this and that about my music. Ah, the conflict between being a very private person and wanting people to hear my music.
