(no subject)
So exciting news for you all…I am going to be assistant stage managing for Tommy which the school of drama is putting on in the spring. I’m super excited and you all better come see it, but don’t expect to see much of me unless you have free time during the day. It runs Wednesday through Sunday April 12-30. Bad news is opening night is first night Seder; my family will just have to bring me lots of food from my grandma’s house.
I also got an e-mail from someone today who wants me to design sets or costumes for his show this spring so I have to call him tomorrow and see if it would be feasible too do something for him with Tommy. My current show has its preview performance tomorrow, it’s sort of fun but uneventful. For it I am running sound. Drama is eating my life but it makes me so happy!!! I get really grumpy about theatre when I don’t actually get to work on anything so this is good for me.
This weekend was nice, much sleeping and skiing was wonderful. That is after my parents and I drove around for 5 hours to find a place to ski. It is always nice to go home to my real bed which is way more comfortable than my school one.
