7 people in one tiny motel 6 room
10 hours of sleep
1 aggravating but enjoyable football game
2 surprise visits with old friends
6 (1/4) tanks of gas
2 times the gas warning light came on
1 visit to a weigh station
3 times loosing or missing the highway we needed
Cal was fun and crazy and I’m glad we went. The Cal band was nice. It was neat playing with them on the field after the game, albeit a little awkward. The piccs liked our dances =) I’m a little sad I missed the party but staying in San Francisco was great and the city is gorgeous at night. The drive was also gorgeous, going we went through the passes at night but it was incredible, we could see the dark outlines of the mountains and stars wrapped around us in all the remaining space. There were quite a few shooting stars but they liked Shauna better than me. Coming back we could see all of the mountain sides covered in trees in fall colors. It was a little New Englandy. Someday I really need to hop in the car with a tent and a week or two to kill and drive down on 101 and hang out in San Francisco and drive back on 5 and see the mountains up close. Any takers?
Now:
1 exhausted Jess(i) with 2 exams tomorrow, and no motivation…Time to shower!!!
