There are some things that have been going on lately that I don't understnad WHy they're a big deal or understand why people did those things.

Crimson Tide Coach With Strippers Ok, the Alabama coach went to a strip club and supposedly I guess had strippers in a hotel room or something. What's the big deal? Its his personal life. Unless the ( Read more... )

Nice hearing from u... better yet, /reading/ from u!

Well, it's kinda cool being 18 and a junior in college. Thing is, I went to a dual-enrollment highschool at Miami-Dade Comm. College, so I finished Junior and Senior yrs of highschool along with my first two of college! Got my AA along w/ my highschool diploma!

It has tremendous advantages but, believe it or not, it's been a tad bit difficult being in such an advanced situation in the university. All of my classmates are AT LEAST 3 years older than me, but most are even older!!! And the professors (which are used to teaching Upper Division courses and usually don't have teenagers in their classrooms) tend to crack jokes and bring certain materials into their lectures that everyone BUT me understands!!! Other than little things like those, I've been having a blast!

I live in West Hialeah (I don't know if u r familiar with where Telemundo is, but I live several blocks from there). And yeah, I'm of Cuban descent!

So what do u plan to do after UF? You must be excited you've got but a year to finish!!! It's kinda funny cuz I decided on being an English major, but job-wise I'm not sure if I should totally focus on that just now. I'm trying to obtaing alternate career ideas and possibilities since the economy is basically on the floor right now. I mean, there aren't THAT many options available to someone with a Bachelor's in English that I am aware of! So one could say I'm still exploring!

I took AP in HS, but sometimes I wish I took dual enrollment as well. In fact, AP is harder than just taking the class dual enrollment at a local community college. You don't have to take that test. Also, my jr or sr yr in HS, they made it where you had to take ther AP classes the whole year instead of ust one semester or teh other. BUT, I did like interning for the Disability Affairs Office in Broward County, which is somehting I don't think that I would have been able to do if I did do dual enrollment.

I lived in West Hialeah until I was 11. I'll tell you on AIM where I was by...

Aftetr UF. I'm kinda nervous about that right now. I'm thinking..

1) Law School but i have to tkae the LSAT and I need to take an LSAT course which I need atleast $800 for after what they woudl give me for financial aid. UGH! THis makes me mad! I had a chance to win that course freshman year, but this bitchy girl basically made me loose it! UGH! If reincarnationis real, she will come back as a lab rat in her next life. She's a bitch! And this girl can afford that, shehas a whole house for herself, I can't. My mom's a single mom.

2) Grad School for Poli Sci. I like Poli Sci stuff, only thing, can I go through 2-3 more yrs of school?

3) Get a job in Washington. use my connections like Anne did to get a job at a congresspersons office. Maybe take a yr off from school then come back...
