Like I said, crosses cna be just decoration. Of course, she was doing it b/c she felt compelled as a Christian to wear somethign of the cross, which I believe is her right of free speech to do so.

SO are you agreeing w/ me on teh religious symbols thing, that you think its a bit excessive to call wearing a cross necklace to school is a misdeameanor. I think if people can wear black armbands to school to protest a war, that people oughtta be able to wear a necklace of something that believe in...

About learning everything. You could have a required course "Cultures or Religions Around the World". I think that since we are in a globalized world, that it is vital that American kids know about different cultures as well. I thin it will cut down on racist incidents and hate crimes and ignorance. Its also important for doing business with them so that communicaiton goes smoother and so that we won't diss other peopel and so we won't feel dissed by other people.

The gambling. People say he spent $8million, but how much money does he have and over what timespan was the $8million spent? If he's spent $8 million in his life or over 10 years, thats not bad b/c he probably has alotta money in the bank and that's probably jsut fun money. Also, how much of a net gain or loss has he made? If he spent 8 million and got back 10 million, thats a net gain of $2million. If he spennt $8million and got only $1million, thats a net loss of $7million. But, I think, if hes going to loan sharks to support the habit, or he has over-run credit cards, then he has a problem...

No, he LOST 8 million, although I'm not sure over how long of a period. So, just imagine what he must have put out there...I think the guy can do whatever he wants. Whatever, that's his deal. But uh, stop writing the books--addiction is not a virtue.
