And I haven't found one yet. I'd earn more money flipping burgers of course that is before I turned them to hockey pucks. Mildred Pierce I am not. And thank god, too. That little brat Vida, I would have socked her one instead of trying to take the fall.

All I can hear is the soothing tapping of my type writer. The boss doesn't demand too much. Which is a problem. He doesn't really care to pay the electricity, telephone or any bill, really. Those little wadded papers under his desk when I first got here...yup, months of bills. The agency is in the black...however, I may need to put this machine in hock or work pro bono.

On another note, I wonder when he'll start to wonder about my motives. I didn't blink when he told me about the "mysterious" happenings. The economy is not that bad.

"What's that, Sugar? Garlic?" To the market I go.
