The New Law

So I was wandering around Northland's Mall the other day (I now work there in the cinema, woot for easy low paying jobs) and I saw all these really just-not-cool clothing getups. Anyway, I wanted to share them to see if it was just me and if I was a crazy person

(1). So you're a bit chubby. Chubbier chicks don't have to wear baggy, shapeless clothes. Fat is normal. Embrace it! Hiding behind baggy clothes doesn't make you look thinner, it makes you look huge! Hey, I think there are heaps of hot plus-sized models. Not everyone is built to look like Paris Hilton (thank effing christ)

(2). Waxing etc is hell for some people. I understand that. I'm not too fond of ripping hair out of my skin either. But try, try to trim down your monobrow or sideburns. You'd look so much more attractive. And if you're going to wear a short skirt, shave/wax/cream your legs. Also shave your armpits if they're going to be on display. Great Scott.

(3). Wash your hair. I can understand that somedays you just can't be bothered or don't have time, but you should never let it get to the stage its so greasy you deep fry burgers in it

(4). Wear underwear.

(5). I do not want to see your underwear. Wear clothes your size, dangnabit! Just because the skirt is shorter or the top shows more cleavage doesn't make it better.

(6). Some people suit dark make up. It makes them look dramatic. Some people don't suit dark make up. It makes them look like ho's.

(7) Just because something is fashionable does not mean it (a) suits you, or (b) actually looks good in the first place. This goes for colours as well. I myself don't suit baby pink, green, yellow or orange.

(8) don't sacrifice your own style to fit in with your friends (occasionally linked to 7)

(9) Final comment; your insecurities show through in your posture and dress. Learn to like yourself, so that other people can too. I feel sorry for many people I saw in the mall simply because they seemed so depressed and dowdy, when they really could have looked great.
