Time flies... gotta swat em.....
The summer has ended, and it ended abrubtly. Almost as if it never began. One life ended and now another has begun. Maybe it will work, maybe it wont, only time will tell. But for now, I'm happy, we all are. And i don't think its a lie.
Classes have started, and i just can't stop thinking about them ending. Organic Chem Lab, while it is the type of class i would classify as a "motherfucker" does not even worry me anymore. I can handle it. Lots of work but i can handle it.....side note we all got dicked on an in lab quiz...we had to identify an unknown analgesic(minor pain killer basically) then synthesize it, you only synthesize the one that you identified, so of course once we identified it everybody studied there asses off to KNOW their respective reactions, so he hands out the quiz, draw the structure of aceteminophen and the constituents and reactions that form it. Only the very few people who were actually working on aceteminophen knew the answer, i had phenecetin, i can draw and give you the reactions for phenecetin but not aceteminophen....fucker.......
Organic Chem II is another hardcore motherfucker of a class but eh, it doesnt worry me for some reason.
Biochemistry is going to kick my ass. It's probably the hardest class ive ever taken. to quotethe syllabus:
"Introductory Biochemistry satisfies the requirements of the American Chemical Society Committee on Professional Training. CHM 425 provides a quantitative and mechanistic introduction to the field of biochemistry in one semester. The level of the course is similar to that of a standard full year senior-masters level biochemistry course."
Fuckin bullshit.
Computer hardware configuration installation and support....What a fucking joke of a class.
Then sociology 100. Now i normally dont have a problem with tree huggin hippies. but when the proff is a tree huggin hippy, and will rant for 3 hours..STRAIGHT..about how we are all gonna die of cancer from the toxins in our environment, and we need to eat organically grown food, and we are lead and mercury poisoning are children, who of course are all going to die, and how "stranger danger" is a myth, nobody kidnaps or molests children but their parents, and doctors kill there patients yada yada yada...because our society sucks...makes me not like fucking tree hugging hippies. we dont have a text book, because he feels that we shouldnt learn sociology. that terms dont mean anything, we need to learn to think sociologically....meaning be tree huggin hippies.
C++ programming i should be more concerned about than i am. i barely remember the coding from high school and my unix skills are lacking. but what the fuck.
Best buy has gotten better, i got a $0.32 per hour raise so im almost at $11.00/hour. but now they are bein fucking stupid. we are going from 7 techs, 2 full time 5 part time, to 12, 4 of which are full timers. one of which is old smelly lies to customers and has absolutely no knowledge of computers. why are they transferring their trash to our department? plus since our hours are based on a set total labor hours for the week, full timers have to have at least 32 hours part timers 4. guess where all our labor is going to go?so if i get cut to 4 hours a week to accomadate smelly old guys i quit. this is fucking bullshit, and i think the 7 of us are going to speak out. we already started organizing kinda sorta.
This weekend was a lot of fun. i worked all of it but sunday night i came back to mount pee, where kevin(my best friend from high school, also best buy geek squad) came over as well as brandon, neighbor and fellow agent, and leigh, best buy ops her fiance tim,heather kyle, mike, some others and Sarah. we hung out most of the night, bitched about work, "Had some Brews" hehe. went to lil chef, best resturaunt ever, with brandon kevin and sarah.
Monday went swimming at lake camelot with sarah. great fun had by all hehe. then walked to video land rented kung fu hustle, which i passed out during..too much physical activity, especially in the hot ass sun... kinda bored me anyway. made spurr of the moment chicken fettucini alfredo with garlic bread and green beans....Sooooooo goood!!!! :-) . also rented sahara, great movie. watched about half of it made a meijer run and went to bed. finished it in the morning after big apple bagels....Sooooooo gooood!!! heheh
now its back to class. i work and have class all day stay up all night and repeat every day.
For some reason i am looking forward to my birthday so much. it will be such a good break. ive never really had a big birthday party before. so this should be fun. so many people are going to come...i hope...and it will be mostly people i care about and care about me. plus maybe some others. why? because all are invited heheh!!!!!
arghh ive been here since 11, thats been 5 hours, i still have 8 to go, damn im so fuckin hungry.........i need to become friends with a delivery driver.
