A quick entry while I wait for Andy to come home from his hurling match. It's been steady rain all day, but that's perfect because I came down with a cold yesterday evening and got to sleep it (hopefully) away all morning. Then it was was tidying up and vacuuming while Andy played a match in the rain.
Yesterday I went rollerskating with a friend from work, she does Dublin roller derby and it was really fun! I was so wiped out after 2 hours of skating though. Also my skates were too big so it hurt after a while but the trick in derby is to put tape around your socks so there is no friction. I'm sure the damage would have been much worse without it. I'd like to see about maybe getting some skates of my own just to get better at it and get some exercise too. Must price them around first.
