I flailed at my friend Ash when I saw this! And now she is flailing too, because I shoved the link at her and said GO READ THIS NOW PLZ.
I really REALLY like these snippets! Pete in this is such a lovable asshole, and Patrick's one-word responses at the start made me giggle. I LOVE the dialogue as well, it works so well.
In the split second before the two of them tumble down onto the cushions, Patrick hopes fervently that Pete wasn’t kidding even a little bit about being gone till morning.
I may have flailed too much at that part. It's just amazing. I was screaming at Ash "I KNOW WHO THIS IS I KNOW THEIR STYLE" and I cannot wait to see if I got the right person. In any case, if I'm wrong or right, thank you so much! I'm so happy to get such a great fic!
