Ryohei considered himself extremely lucky this dream. The water was barely floating near the top of the school and he was ultimately stuck where he was.

The kangaroo snorted and scowled a bit at the narrow staircase, there was no way he was fitting in there. No way he could swim quickly enough, and who knew what was lurking within the waves.

Man I feel like quoting Early Modern seafarer's poetry. Also hey have a drowning Bonny selectivefire March 15 2009, 17:46:30 UTC
Bonny's very first feeling in the Dream was that of severe discomfort. And as usual, the boxer's very first reaction to that was roaring whatever caused it into submission. But no fierce yell left her, and as she gasped for air nothing but water filled her lungs.

She was drowning.

Her strong, but right now useless limbs ploughed the water, desperate for release from the sea engulfing her. And while her feet kicked at walls she only succeeded in pushing herself away from the building she was desperately trying to reach the top of. And all the while the water still pervaded her body, left her suffocating like a fish on land, and what use was a strong body without oxygen to sustain it-

Her body weakened, and as her fighting stopped, her body began to drift upwards, and school-wards.

lol HI! HOW ARE YOU! extremesunlight March 15 2009, 19:45:14 UTC
There was a different sound nearby, drawing Ryohei's attention to the side of a building. Grunting the large mammal jumped towards the fencing, spying a body hitting the walls, so not good. Trapped like he was in this body there was no way Ryohei could get the body in. Still it didn't stop him from sticking his nose out between the gaps in the fencing and nosing the body.

If they were dead then they would've disappeared like that clown fella did last dream. It wasn't like they could pull him through the fencing in any case, the most would be water up his nose and in his mouth. Ryohei could use his feet to pull himself free.

Teetering on the brink of consciousness, Bonny felt something poke her - something soft, something - alive? Again her killing instinct reared its head, and she tried to get her arms to reach for whatever it was that was touching her. No use.

The sound of one of the beads cracking, however, sent a shiver through her large frame. And suddenly the realization hit her - she was going to drown here. Childhood fears awoke and the bead broke as feelings of helplessness and sheer terror pervaded her mind. She wasn't going to let that happen - she wouldn't drown in this fucking dream sea.

With a final powerful surge of strength, she grasped the kangaroo's nose.

At first the body didn't move and Ryohei really thought they might be dead. Then. It grabbed his nose, hard. That hurt. The kangaroo brayed in pain and yanked his head back, freeing it from that grip.

Well now he knew the person was alive. Maybe if he fished them out they wouldn't...attack. Who knew. He turned around and flipped his tail over the fencing near the person's hand. They had better grab a hold of that, burn from the tail's flames or not it was better than being in the water.

GO OUTSIDE AND HAVE AN ADVENTURE IT'S WHAT I DO also I get drunk/read/both selectivefire March 16 2009, 18:42:01 UTC
The thing retreated - did it belong to something alive? The boxer urged kill kill kill but there wasn't going to be any killing or maiming or whatever if she didn't get out of this ocean quickly enough. But barely aware of something (a lifeline?) landing next to her hand, she felt her vision go cloudy again (and this time, not because of bloodlust).

What else could she do? She grasped for the thing and found it burnt - even through her gloves, the flame hurt her. But in reality as in the Dream, Bonny was not one to be discouraged by pain and she held on tightly. Everything waiting for her would be better than drowning here.

ADVENTURE~ extremesunlight March 16 2009, 21:08:48 UTC
As soon as his tail was grabbed hold of Ryohei pulled on his tail. But damn the person was heavy. When he finally got them over the railing it was more so yanking his tail away, just in case they weren't exactly the friendly type.

Then Ryohei gave the man a look over, a boxer! He grinned in his head, wondering if he could try a fight in this form. Probably wasn't the smartest thing to do but he was gonna do it. The kangaroo looked at his own tail, still aflame and raring to go.

Haha, another weird dream, huh? Well, that's fine! Yamamoto thinks they're kind of cool, anyway- doesn't usually remember his dreams, so it's something different.

Luckily for him, it's not hard to get around. The only trouble he had was when he first woke, and the water nearly soaked into his feathers. Now, all dried and fluffy, he's soaring over the flood, and--

hello, wild kangaroo. We'll just fly around you, okay?

It was the sound of wings that alerted Ryohei that he had company and even then as he twisted his head around he couldn't find the source of the noise. That was kind of...odd.

He could easily chalk this up as a new meeting, he hadn't encountered anything that flew. Unless one counted that odd cloth thing Ryohei fought in the gym, that one was weird.

Finally he was able to spot the flighty little blue bird and snorted. The kangaroo twitched his ears, just avoid those, they burn.

Yamamoto's never seen a kangaroo in real life before- unless you count the ones at the zoo, but that was back when he was really little. Not quite the same as being next to a live, breathing one.

He flies a bit lower- not so cautious, more curious than anything.

So far so good, it wasn't attacking him. But who knew. It might. And he didn't have anything in the way of long range attacks besides the flames of his ears and tail.

Ryohei bent his ears back, smelling the air around the flying bird. Seemed friendly so he brayed at the thing. It was beginning to make him dizzy.

Not really sure what to do himself, the bird takes the moment to swoop down and settle on the kangaroo's nose. Now, what was that thing he did last time? That cool mind talking thing?

Give him a moment to remember, haha.

Well at least it was a light weight, Ryohei didn't really feel it on his nose at all. Except it was still hard to see the blue bird without going cross-eyed.

He consoled himself, at least it had stopped flying like a crazy kite.
