It didn't take her long to walk in and order a cup of coffee and a piece or strawberry cheesecake. Eve was a frequent customer and came here almost every day to do homework and relax. Bright pink eyes glanced about before she saw a young man who looked quite a bit like the picture. It didn't phase her but this was the place where she usually sat. Even so, she walked past him keeping a calm and indifferent expression.

Belphegor had kept his eyes on the door and at the window and at everything else, watching, waiting, wondering if the next person to come in would be Eve. When a blonde girl came in, Bel perked up and watched her. From the moment she came in, when she walked to the counter, then past him to a different table.

By then, Bel's cake had gone (it was alright; it wasn't the best he'd had but it was edible) so he finished his cup of tea and walked up to the girl. "Hello, Eve," he said, big grin and all confident that this was the right girl. It had to be.

She didn't need someone to tell her that his eyes were on her. Either way she kept her movements natural. By the time he got to her she was sitting. Her head turned slightly to gaze up at him. "Belphegor I presume?" He was the one that was supposed to meet her.

Bel nodded, laughing. He sat down opposite Eve and kept the grin on his face. "I knew it was you," Bel said. Ah, he probably should have brought his cup here instead, but it was a little late for that.

Now that they were there... What next? Was this like a date-thing? If there was anything he'd learned from that night out with Xanxus, it was... 'Don't repeat the events of that night, ever.' Not that it was a horrible date. Maybe he should start a conversation. "So, you're a bounty hunter, huh? That's pretty awesome," Bel said. And then mentally kicked himself, because that was obviously a lame way to start a conversation. Not very princely, he thought.

She smiled slightly at him. It was out of politeness more than anything else. This meeting should be... Interesting to say the least. She didn't have any complaints yet.

"I am. It is an interesting job to say the least." Eve took a sip of her coffee before continuing. "What do you to for entertainment?" It was idle conversation at least. He was a lot more calmer than Train ever would be. Eve was just fine with that.

Bel crossed his arms on the table and leaned in a little. "Hmm~," he thought about how to answer Eve's question first. Should he say 'I stab things and throw knives and rip Hibari's pillow apart just to annoy him'? That wouldn't leave a very good impression. "I do physics in my head," he said (but he really meant: I think of how fast and at which angle I should throw a knife so it would fly across the courtyard and right between someone's eyes). "And I take Charles for walks in the courtyard when I get bored, or I go bug Froggie or Minato."

Bel paused for a moment, grinning, to let Eve digest the information he gave. And then he piped up with another question. "What's it like being a bounty hunter?" He was really interested.

"That all sounds like a lot of fun" She nodded now becoming mildly interested. Well, she was horribly blunt and didn't mind showing it. "I like to throw sharp objects at my idiot rival, read, and of course bounty hunt." The mentioning of throwing sharp objects at Train made a mischievous grin spread across her lips. Some things would never change.

"It is enjoyable. You get to go to different places, study different things, and fight." What more could you want? She also was able to protect people. That was something she would like to do for the rest of her life.

Wow. Eve had him at "throw sharp objects." Bel couldn't even get rid of that grin on his face. She liked throwing sharp things and fighting (and maybe killing, but that could come much later) and going places and was that a grin when she said she liked throwing sharp objects? Belphegor liked her already.

"You like knives then?" He had... a collection.

"Knives are good. I like weapons in general." They were good to have on you and most certainly fun to discuss. From bayonets to the regular pocket knife she could practically name them all. Then there were the special weapons Sven made but that could come later.

How intriguing! It was the first time Bel met a girl who liked knives. It wasn't everyday you did. It made him... extra happy. "Knives are the best," he said. "Especially throwing knives!"

"Ah, throwing knives. They can be quite useful." As a child she had been trained to be well practiced in many areas of weaponry and combat. It was only natural for her to know how to put a knife to use. "You seem to have quite the passion for knives. Who taught you about them?"

"I taught myself," Bel said, grinning. Mostly through trial and error, and he was proud that he's never injured himself once. Deliberately, anyway. It counted. Anyway, that was a long time ago and he considered himself really good with handling knives now. "They're pretty easy to use. I like them."

"Ah, maybe you could give me a demonstration sometime?" She was curious as to what his style was like. It differed so much from person to person. Watching and learning was also a good tool. The more tricks one learned, the better, and the longer you lasted.
