Belphegor wondered how the hell that idiot got his number. Hibari better not have given it just to spite him. Still, he trudged his way to wherever it was Ryohei had said to meet up.

He saw no one else there when he got to the place, though. Was he the first? Great. Then he would have to spend more time with the dunderhead. Bel had rotten luck.

He couldn't help but grin as the petite blonde came into view, "Belp-- ... Blondie!" Of course the actual threats of being injured might come true if he didn't somehow figure out HOW to say the younger teen's name. Ryohei wasn't quite sure he wanted to go back to the infirmary for his ribs being broken again. Still he kept the grin on his face as if he had said nothing wrong at all, "Glad you could make it! Bring a flashlight? Or do ya need one?"

Falco was also a little confused as to how this guy got his cellphone number, and he might have even panicked a little at first, but that initial worry was buried straight away; this guy seemed harmless. So, after grabbing his jacket, a knit cap--he had just re-dyed his hair; the rain probably wouldn't help with it setting--and some other supplies shoved into his backpack--some gauze, a flashlight, a billy club (don't ask where he got that)--he was out the door and headed towards the meeting spot.

After some muttering about the rain, Falco caught sight of the two already waiting, blinking a little. He quickened his pace and as soon as he came into view.. well, he didn't know what to do. He was still socially inept in settings like this, aside from sarcastic quips here and there, so he simply kept quiet until he was in earshot.

"...Hey." He said awkwardly. This was probably the first time he actually hung out with anyone who wasn't Wolf or his family or his dad's buddies. It was bound to be .. interesting, at least.

"It's Belphegor," Bel hissed and stomped on Ryohei's foot for calling him Blondie. He was generous today, so he would let Ryohei live. Besides, he was the guide for this trip to that abandoned library, and Belphegor was curious. "And no thanks, I have my own flashlight." To prove it, Belphegor reached in his jacket's inside pocket and showed Ryohei the flashlight he brought with him.

Thankfully for Ryohei someone else came along. He pouted at the newcomer if only because Bel didn't know who he was.

Maya hadn't been expecting a text from Ryohei-- how'd he get her number anyway? Not like she minded, but whatever. After skimming through the text message, she grinned after slowly and unskillfully tapping and pressing a couple of buttons on the miniature keypad. She'd only been at Hypnos High for, what, a week or so-- and something was already happening. And most of all, it was an investigation. Now this is what Maya'd been hoping for.

After dashing over to the meeting spot, she spotted a kinda-sorta familiar silver-haired boy, and instantly waved at him, a cheerful grin spread across her lips. "This is the meeting spot, right??"

Another voice joined their group, a female one this time, "Yeah! Welcome to our little group here! Have you met everyone else?" Grins were always infectious to him, like yawns were to others, and Ryohei was grinning yet again.

Am I doing it right? Should I comment here? D: selectivefire February 18 2009, 23:00:16 UTC
Of course she'd had better things to do. There were so many things to take care of, so many hours to be spent training - so many clubs, too. Bonny never really found time to just sit and lounge about nowadays; rushed from one obligation to the other. But that was how she lived, and that was how she dealt with stress.
She kept busy.

Yet it was out of the question to let that Ryohei (even his texts were in caps lock, what the hell was wrong with the guy?) know that she was ditching her date with Mr Speed Bag and his companion Mr Maize Bag. Maybe she'd be able to fill her shadowboxing quota all the same, though - the library was bound to be full of shadows, right?
Oh-ho-ho. Sometimes she cracked herself upHer trademark oversized leather jacket had been great at keeping her dry years ago when it hadn't been quite as old and battered as it now was. Her ripped jeans had turned a dark blue because of the rain already and she'd set out with a light blue pair just a few minutes ago. The abandoned building would provide her with shelter, at ( ... )

Falco gave Ryohei a hesitant smile, shaking his head. "No, I don't need a flashlight, thanks, though." He was probably over-prepared, but his home life kind of molded him to be that way. Maybe it'd come in handy at some point, but even Falco was doubtful of that when they were just exploring a library.

Looking around at the two girls to join the group, Falco gave a nod--not exactly the way his mother would have wanted him to greet girls, but Falco wasn't in a mind to care now that he was so far away from her--and he toed at the wet ground with his boot.

"What are we even looking for here?" Certainly there was a goal in mind. They couldn't just be expected to wander around in an abandoned building for the fuck of it. ...Right?

Idk. Eve is here. defybullets February 19 2009, 14:33:18 UTC
Eve was curious to say the least. An abandoned library may serve to be interesting. As she approached the small group she raised a hand in greeting. Looking disinterested her voice matched her expression. At least there were a few people that she knew. "Sasagawa, Belphegor, hello." The girl nodded in greeting to acknowledge there were others as well.

Bel swatted Ryohei's hand away from him when he patted his head and stomped on his foot again. But more people started to come, so he couldn't exactly stab Ryohei with the knife he brought. He brought a lot, actually, all hidden within his person. Of course, he wasn't about to say that.

He crossed his arms and huffed and pouted because he was getting impatient. The only people he knew there was Newbie (forgot her name, but she was at Froggie's movie marathon, the one with the burgers), and Ryohei--

Oh, wait. Eve came! Bel grinned and waved at her. "Hello~" He greeted, happy and relieved that there was at least someone he liked in the group.

"EXCELLENT! You came Bonny! Eve too!!" He continued to ignore Belphegor's attempts to injure him as more people arrived. The blonde wasn't really trying and it kind of disappointed Ryohei.

The silver-haired teen turned his attention back to Falco, "I actually have no goal in mind!" He was grinning, again, "Some folks seem to think it's haunted! Buuuut I don't believe in ghosts!" He rubbed the back of his head with his bandaged hand, "So I guess we're going to see what we can see!"

Ryohei really did have no goal in mind for the exploration, he had simply thought it something interesting to do and a GREAT way to bond with people he hadn't really met yet. "Well! We've got a large enough group now! Should we head in?"

Revy usually wasn't ever late to anything, but when she was it was just her style to make a grand entrance. She'd been tied up on the phone with someone who needed a delivery from the Company, and no matter what she did their client would just not hang up. Hoping she hadn't missed the group, she followed the directions Ryohei had left for her and found the crowd waiting outside the library. If Ryohei was mad, that was his problem.

She didn't mind the rain, and was only wearing a jacket- Russian military-issue, complete with patches- over her usual attire. This time, she'd brought her Cutlasses- her guns sat in their holsters, waiting to be used. Revy figured she could have a little fun, and not having bothered to load them before arriving, she hid behind a tree near Ryohei and checked to make sure the chambers were empty. Once everyone in the group had turned their backs, she quietly stepped out from her hiding place.

Cutlass raised in the air, she pulled the trigger. The unmistakable click of the hammer was just her way of ( ... )

Ryohei turned back around at another female voice and scowled at the shiny gray metal. As a fighter who fought with his body he had always hated projectile weapons like guns. Weapons that required more involvement of the user's part like bo staffs and swords were ones he preferred. But it was Revy's choice and not his, "Nope!" The grin was back on his face, did it ever really leave? "We were just going to head into the library! Glad you could make it!"
