Akinari turned away from the computer screen - he'd read the comments over and over between him and Minato. Read the last few more than the rest.
He thought about what had happened since his arrival here - how he had met some extraordinary people. But he still felt empty - he knew his time was limited. After all, the latest tests showed that his condition was rapidly deteriorating. He might lose motor function, memory, he might even just fall into a coma and not wake.
Hence his sudden desire for haste. Minato didn't understand that. No one did.
