your post made me giggle while remembering how trued f'ed up asn wastrapmeisterJanuary 19 2009, 22:20:46 UTC
Having been, in fact, hiding in their room from the student populous -- though how he figured the place where he was recorded to live would confuse anyone at all was rather beyond common logic -- Tieria was sitting at his desk, pretending to work on programming while sincerely trolling the Internet for lack of anything actually important to do (and a suitable degree of "bored teenager" to fund the rest of it).
He glanced up at Sou entered, and had a wild moment of twenty passing facial expressions, as his brain scrambled to find whichever expression might be appropriate before remembering it was done being fatally polite to his roommate and had rounded the bend to "you're going to figure out how someone as small as me manages to plot peoples' deaths." His face stilled in the somewhat angry, somewhat condescending, somewhat confused expression it used rarely, and he turned in his seat to look up at Sou
( ... )
Sou closed the door and leaned upon it, looking down while gathering his breath; he'd hastened his steps toward the dorm room, unable to wait even one extra second to lay eyes on his roommate.
What was this tension in his chest, this unknown sensation. It confused him, disoriented him.
"T." He said, then crossed the room toward the other; he put out a hand - was it a peace offering?
Not letting Sou draw him back into his polite bubble, Tieria reached out and took the other boy's hand, then shook it. "Are you going to take what I said seriously?" he asked, purple eyes flashing -- gold? -- as he held weight atop the question as he held Sou's hand.
Sou pulled Tieria to his feet. "Of course I am." His free hand settled against his roommate's cheek.
He noticed, but did not remark on the change of eye colour; it might have been a trick of the light. "Are you going to take me seriously?" He countered quietly.
Somewhat disconcerted by Sou's touchy-feely personality change -- but conveniently ignorant enough of customs to care all that much -- Tieria focused most of his energies on ignoring the touch.
He replied, voice solid, "I take most things seriously. It is both a flaw and merit to my personality." His eyes flickered again, but only briefly, before they changed back to their pure, blood-red color. "Rather, are you going to seriously uphold your word? Or are you going to switch it around again when you feel that the effort just isn't worth your time anymore?"
A small smirk drifted onto Tieria's lips, and the red in his eyes darkened, an almost feral expression, not expected for one of Tieria's build, but somehow fitting just the same.
"The things that incite cause for the most effort are usually the things most deserving of that effort."
"How right you are." Sou murmured, thumb caressing Tieria's cheekbone before he dropped his head slightly and met the other's lips with his own. In this, he was sufficiently gentle, yet - there was an air of demand the way he would not let that initial touch go, the way he boldly took what he wanted.
Sou was not one easily refused. The kiss lingered - and if Sou had his way, it would deepen in a moment.
Tieria's thoughts had time to go from, That's unu-- to full-blown, I have no idea what's happening! before coming to rest on, Well, that's not all that bad, let's be honest.
If he had a nagging inclination that, perhaps, this was a bad idea, he hadn't noticed it yet.
Or he'd accidentally shed it with his polite boundaries.
Sou released Tieria's hand, his fingers sliding against the other's waist, clasping him close as the kiss continued. At least he hadn't been pushed away, slugged, or bitten - yet.
He parted millimeters, eyes half-lidded. He felt like he should say something; about how gorgeous Tieria was, about how he wanted to put his bare hands on his roommate's skin - but those phrases seemed trite.
So he kissed Tieria again, tongue darting out against his mouth, seeking to deepen the contact.
Entirely certain that he'd stopped having any idea what was going on about ten minutes ago -- when he'd decided to work up the balls to tell off his roommate about being an agoraphobic ass, and it took one to know one -- Tieria just, well, went with the flow.
Living in a Catholic orphanage, porn and movies rated above "crappy Disney cartoons" were pretty much things he didn't even have the skills to contemplate. He knew what kissing was, obviously. And even sex, to a vicarious (and mostly piecemeal) degree.
Really, where he got lost was in the emotional connection these activities were supposed to warrant. "Abstinence only" sex education didn't tell you to wait until true love, just marriage.
One of these days, it would be the doom of society.
Only, Tieria didn't know that yet. And, well, it felt pretty nice.
Sou's hand shifted from Tieria's cheek, sliding over his hair - and yes, it was as soft as it looked. He felt the tension in him ease, the weight slipping away into the profound places of himself.
"... sit down?" It was an almost-question, almost-demand, as Sou guided Tieria to sit on his bed. He continued to stroke that vibrant hair with one hand, the other coming to rest on his roommate's thigh.
Sou drew back a little, just enough so he could look at Tieria - meet those strangely-coloured eyes. A soft, slight little smile turned his lips upward at one corner; it was the smile of someone who never smiled and never had cause to do so.
He leaned in, laying his lips against Tieria's brow; he slid his arms around the other's shoulders, holding him close.
It wasn't so much the idea that, Hm, I might be making out with my roommate that confused Tieria. Really, he could get over that. What was more bizarre, to him, what the sheer physical closeness.
For a boy raised in a church orphanage, with plenty of other children around, more ill, more alone, more lonely, he'd never had great cause to be the one that the nuns took care of.
No, more than anything, it was the physical attention he was receiving that was both pushing him away and pulling him closer to whatever it was that he was doing with his roommate.
[ ooc - i think i'm going to bed now, so i'll tag more with you later! {really, bed or not, I just misspelled "nun" as "none," so I think further tagging will be detrimental to my ego.} i'll probably be able to tag back tomorrow night, though class starts tomorrow, so i'll be all-around less available. good night! ]
Sou pulled Tieria back onto the bed with him, laying there with the other for a time - he marveled at how pliant, how willing - but also how silent his roommate was.
He knew this - whatever it was - wasn't a mistake. He'd known from moment one that he wanted it to come to this.
Lying there, Sou snuck a hand beneath the hem of Tieria's shirt, braving upward until he found bare flesh.
There was a degree of shyness, sure, but it wasn't much. You didn't keep a lot of "shyness" when you lived with a house full of boys and girls and decidedly not enough areas for privacy or bathing.
Though it seemed foolish to him, when he considered it, Tieria was content to let Sou lead whatever it was they were going to do.
[ ooc - hey, since i don't know if either of us want to write porn, do we just want to fade to black? on top of that, classes have started, and so i'm pretty much 4 1/2 hours of homework a day-ing it up. yeah. in fact, i probably won't be back until saturday for rp/tagging after this really quick, awful tag right here. apologies! ]

It was a start, anyway.

Or might be going to do.
Or, well, screw it.
He did what Sou asked, and he had yet to find anything wrong with it.
Perhaps he wouldn't at all.
