WHO: Shin Sawada, Mizuhashi Sou.
WHAT: Shin is being... social? idk either. Basically, coffee and conversation.
WHERE: A cafe somewhere, presumably.
WHEN: Backdated to the evening of... Jan 4th, I think?
WARNINGS: None that I can think of!

Zipping his coat up higher, in a vain attempt to strengthen his buffer against the biting cold, Shin strode across the grounds. It was dark and drizzling lightly, the pavement glistening in the light of the lamps which lined the paths.

Stepping over a puddle, Shin kept his face pointed down to the ground, hands balled into fists in his pockets. In truth, he wasn't entirely certain if this was a good idea. He was, however, certain that it wouldn't be too disastrously bad an idea -- no big deal, no need to get complicated. A throw-away decision. Realistically, he wasn't falling all over himself to make friends and never would be, but he knew that having some connections was good. Even if it was Sou, though? he couldn't help but wonder. No -- maybe... especially if it was Sou. Something about the guy intrigued Shin, inexplicably -- the way he had casually, forcibly commandeered Shin's company, the way he was reserved but not quite aloofly arrogant in the way of, say, the private-school kids at Aoyama.

No, he didn't need people, he didn't need to be around people. He was perfectly happy on his own, reading, playing a video game, whatever -- but he was bored, he'd been inside all day and was sick of it, and there was something... bleak about the idea of going out to be surrounded by a bustle of impossibly distant strangers who chattered away in a language he still grasped rather clumsily. Wondering what Kuma and Minami and Uchi and the rest were up to, without him. Wondering where Yankumi was...

Shaking himself from those thoughts forcibly, Shin drew up the rest of the way to the gate, Shin peered through the gloom for Sou's figure.

mizuhashi sou, incomplete, closed, shin sawada
