So yeah, here I am. Sorry for the lack of updating in a while, so please hold your letters of complaints for someone who cares. I just got my computer last Wednesday, and I've been updating and installing lots of shit on it so that's the best thing I have to an excuse, so you're gonna have to deal with it.
College life is something else, isn't it? I'm sure most of you are experiencing life away from home and the newly acquired sense of freedom the same way I am. Unfortunately, I have some complaints, haha. Okay, college is cool and all, but the female population here is 60%. I'm sure some of you are like, so what? That means more chicks and less dicks. So what? Well, I ain't single (which is a good thing, I love my Sam) and the majority of guys that go here are the jock type that just came to college to drink and get laid. Wonderful. I haven't had much luck making many friends either because of this, and also another observation that I recently made. Just about everyone here already knows at least five other people that went to their high school or the like. That means everyone already has a group of people to hang with and such. Sucks for me because I know only four people going here: Sam (which is really good, but she needs to get a dorm first...), Katie (not really someone I wish to associate with on a daily basis), Ben (he's always off somewhere and it's hard to get ahold of him when I'm bored), and Kelly (currently on my bitch list for reasons too complicated to share with others). I did happen to meet a few people that kind of called me over, which is like five, and they're cool. I see them every once in a while, but not often enough to really hang with them on a daily basis because they have complicated schedules. Oh well. It's only the second week of school.
Wow, long paragraph. Anyway, more complaints, this time about room/roommates. My room contains three people - Mike, Dave, and myself. The room itself was originally a two person room, which can easily be seen by the inclusion of only two desks and two sets of drawers and closets. Then the assholes at housing shoved another bed/desk unit into the corner, and it's tight as, well, let's say the complete opposite of Jenny Bortlick's pussy. Mike is a cool kid, we get along pretty well even though he plays basketball and watches sports. He has a lot of friends that are like mine, and seems to have some of the same interests as I do. Dave, on the other hand, if a fucking dick. He's nice and all, but I can't stand him. His friends are all football players that smell like ball sweat and all they do is drink at frat parties. Dave also has a "girlfriend" back home, but he's constantly shouting he needs pussy and shit. He also comes stumbling in the room at 4:30 in the morning drunk on a weeknight. What the hell. He also leaves the door wide open for long periods of time when no one is here when he visits his friends down the hall, and that pisses me off. I have lots of expensive stuff in my room, like my TV, PS2 and GC, and also my computer. I was in here for twenty minutes before he came back once. I could have stolen almost everything in that time. Gah, can't stand it. He said he's trying to move in with a friend of his, but he hasn't yet. I really hope he can, cause I'm going insane. He has the bunk above me, and i figure if I thrust a sword through his back in the middle of the night...
Oh my, sorry about that. Classes are pretty cool so far. Not a whole lot of work yet, but I think in a few weeks I'll be singing a different tune. Art takes up so much time; I have both classes right after another and both are three hour classes from 12-6. Yikes. Good thing they're only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Food is pretty good, but walking sucks, as usual.
Sam recently informed me that she is 95% sure that she'll get her room here on Thursday, which is fucking awesome. It sucks so much watching her leave everyday after her classes and I can't spend a whole lot of time with her. This last weekend I pretty much spent the entire time with her. She stayed over Friday night, and we celebrated our sixth month anniversary. I bought her lots of roses and put them all over the living room along with candles, and also placed rose petals all over the bed and put a bunch of daisies (her favorite flower) on the pillow. It was nice.
Shit, that's a lot to read. Haha, sorry about that people. Kind of wish I had warned you in the beginning before you got too caught up in it, huh? Oh well. I guess that's my last week and a half in a nut shell. Mostly complaining I know. Oh, here's more complaining: freshmen have to park their cars in the fairground parking lot, which is a long ass walk. I was bringing stuff to my dorm so I parked my car in the lot outside my dorm and left it there for about three hours because I was gonna pick up Ben and go to town. I come back and there sits a $10 ticket on my windshield. All because I left it there three hours. Fuck KU. Fucking fuck nuts. Okay, that's all for now, peace.
