Friday Night Knitting Club
Not referring to our Friday night knitting club but the book of the same title by Kate Jacobs. I picked up a copy at Half Price Books and then got the sequel, Knit Two for christmas. Both books were good but some of the characters were predictable. Also both included a couple of easy knitting patterns. One of which I will try to make for my next project.
However, I heard that the first book has been optioned into a movie for a 2010 or 2011 release. Casting has begun and Julia Roberts has been picked to play the main character, LYS owner Georgia Walker. For any that have read the book, any thoughts? Personally, she would not have been my choice. I'm not really sure who I would pick to play Georgia.
