Movie-weekend, again

Jun 06, 2010 23:08

Now, finally. When did I last spend a weekend glued to the computer watching films? It was about time again. Last thursday I rented "The Seawolf" , a remake of an old German classic. It is an adaption of a Jack London novel, so I might tell you from the start, I had to fast forward the copious amount of beatings.
But.....it starred Stephen Campbell Moore as Humphrey van Weyden, and...well....is he eye-candy or what?

Yes, I know I am shallow, but...unfffff.

You might or might not know, but when I fancy an actor, I try to see all of his films. (Don't remind me of the horrible times until I was finally able to get a copy of the "Nicholas Nickleby" with James D'Arcy in it)
So, I can proudly tell you, Stephen Campbell Moore is in
- "The History Boys"
- The BBC mini-series "He knew he was right"
- The BBC documentary about the abolition of slavery called "Rough Crossings"

He's also in "Lark rise to Candleford", but that has 32 episodes, that seemed a bit much for now.
AND: He's in the 2010 CBS version of Ben Hur, which is said to be exceptionally bad. I'm going to watch it, though because you'll never guess who play Ben Hur: Joseph Mprgan, our ever-so-much-loved Will Warley of MandC fame. .
