When my mom bought our house a couple years ago, it was a 2 bedroom, with an unfinished basement. Since then I've built two bedrooms in the basement and when I did my bedroom for the first time, I was kind of strapped for cash, and my mom could have cared less about the state of the basement so we finished it with whatever materials we had left. I got around 500$ back for my tax return last month, so I decided to make my room even more mine, and so I began renovating.

This is when we were still putting up the walls a couple of years ago.

I painted the cement wall black, it was really ugly. Oh, and that's my friend Kaila, I think we were getting high on lunch break or something.

This is my old computer setup, when I still had an hp. PC seriously sucks.

In with the new. This stuff is all going in the closet when I build it, in a few weeks.
There used to be a loveseat in this area, I haven't decided what to do with it yet. That's where the black cement wall used to be though.

This is basically the closet area, it's a mess right now. Right where the white stripe ends on the left, there is going to be a wall. and then two folding doors are going to close it off, and there will be shelves and such and I'll finally have a closet that won't fall apart like those crappy canadian tire ones.

This is the only wall thats decorated, other than a painting underneath the lights

My nightstand, with all my Harry Potter books, and a few others that I enjoy, and uhh Nikki's teen devotional bible she lent me a few years ago, HAH. She never asked for it back....

My TV setup. It's cool because it's connected to my computer on the other side of the room.

My computer setup, I didn't make the actual desk part, but all of the brown wood is handcrafted by me, I decided I wanted a hutch to put my printer on, and so I made one, because they are super expensive in stores. It cost me about 20 dollars for the wood, 8 dollars for the stain, and 5 dollars for the sandpaper and about 30 hours build time all together.

It looks really neat in the dark, I think.

Finally, A shot of my bed. The hard wood is new, there used to be carpet on most of the floor. It was viridian green before, now it's jungle green.

I have zero training/experience, and zero real world experience with carpentry.
