My guesses are as good as anyone else's.
The AL is pretty predictable unless a new team comes out of nowhere and starts doing well. Lately, it is always the Red Sox, Yankees, Angels, and someone else in the AL Central. Right now, the top AL Central teams are the Indians and the Tigers. THe Yankees and the Indians, assuming both teams stay healthy, should both be competing for the Wild Card. I think the Indians will be just slightly better and will win it by a game or so.
As for the NL. It is so unpredictable because there are 9 or 10 teams that have a credible case for making the playoffs because there is so much parity in the NL. The Mets are probably the best team in the NL by default. They probably come closest in the NL to having a strong team in all areas. They may be the only team in the NL with more than 90 wins. Wonder if they'll find a way to choke this year too? The NL Central will probably be really competitive between the Cubs and the Brewers. Of course, lately, the Cubs seem to be a team that has one good season, then one terrible season, so its hard to say. Maybe this year, the Brewers will hang onto their lead. They've put together a good team. The NL West is another crazy division that could go any way. Every team except for San Francisco probably has a shot at winning it. I think the Phillies will probably end up getting the WildCard.
