back on the chain gang
holy crap
wow, you guys all still use live journal. i haven't checked it in a million years. in fact, my last post was from the day i was moving out of my old apartment in chicago -- i just checked. that was like a year and a half ago!
anyway, well, uh, it's april 1st now. 2005. time is so slow and still flying by. i'm leaving for my new job trip day after tomorrow. still have a lot of things to do before i leave. tonight i went out to see a few kids as sort of a going away-thing. just aronnd the lower east side, blue and gold, then odessa, then mama's. pretty whatev's.
anyway, uh, i think i'm going to take it slow with the whole new 2k5 live journal relationship i'm cultivating. maybe i'll keep it as a travel diary on my southeast tour.
oh yeah, this april i'm going to miami, gainsville, new orleans, atlanta, athans, nashville, durham/chapel hill, and blacksburg, VA.
it's a work thing, whatever.
the weather right now in nyc is really weird and beautiful. it's dark and moist and warmer but still vaguely chilly. kindof romantic and lonely. good going-away/ thoughtful weather.
oh, and i agree with marisa that IM is in fact cool, and NOT lame. please send me your IM name, or make one if you don't have it. because, goddamn, we all live in different regions of the effing world, and don't we all know by now that the internet is our surrogate mother?
