quick update
Just to let y'all know I'm still among the conscious, and breathing what appears to be mostly air.
Earlier this year: finished Airframe, passed General&Airframe written, then got an internship/co-op in one of the fine biz-av companies in the state. Currently chugging along with avionics department, having worked in the engine shop for 3 months before that. A couple weeks ago finally passed my checkride (the aircraft was down for good 9 months after a prop-strike, quite a story there), and now I'm an FAA-certified private pilot, lol. Instrument rating is next on list, but not before I get a real job: this shit gets expensive real quick-like. The co-op is supposed to last until the end of December, after which I will be returning back to college to finish Powerplant and hopefully get my FCC GROL and FAA A&P licenses (as I've said above, the A portion is halfway out of the way, gotta pass O&P next... that is, after coughing up $400 or so that the DME is going to demand from me).
I'll try my best to resume posting, with pics, random thoughts, blackjack, and hookers. Enjoy.
