k, so california requires you to register and post your resume to caljobs.com if you apply for unemployment. yeah, a useful resource, if you have the freaking internet! and now the library is switching to flash drives completely so i'm totally screwed for papers and projects and stuff. top it all off, i've been to the two big bookstores looking for work. i was told at both places to apply online. b&n was lying. they just were too lazy to hand me an app, they want me to print my own. no one understands ;(
so since i only get an hour and the borders app had a 47 page questionnaire (which repeated certain questions to the point that you begin wondering what your answer was the first four times it was asked) i'm at yeti's house. sweet, adopted little big bro (23 yrs old, 6'9'' tall) let me come over to do my resume and my apps and such.
its freezing here. the temp hasn't been above 58 in the last three days. my dad's wearing gloves to bed he's so cold. poor mommy...
we (mom, dad, and me) take drives on the weekends most of the time, usually to the same places. i get in the car yesterday and dad asks where we should go...i said iddywild (i always give some place not close when asked, most often cabo wabo ;p) and to my great shock we went up to iddywild. it was so pretty with the snow, and not as commercial touristy as big bear. yet another place i'm considering as an escape route when i get my degree.
that will be soon. i'm actually gonna do my taxes this year and fill out a fafsa so i can get grants and such to fund my plan. then its usc and hello horizon ;p
