Sunday was a very frightening day, thanks to the tornado outbreak we had here.
Amazingly, my area didn't get hit hard - in fact, I never even had any rain at my place. You could tell there was something in the air, though. At one point I went outside and saw blue sky above me, and rapidly swirling clouds all around, some of which were that ugly green color that everyone associates with tornadoes. It was a very eerie scene. None touched down close to where I live, which I'm a little surprised about. There were 25 touchdowns, which is a record for November.
I'm sad to see all the damage just to the west (Lebanon) and north (Kokomo) - the former city I worked in for eight years, the latter I go to all the time. And my heart goes out to those who lost lives in Illinois. Awful destruction.
Meanwhile, everything else is going fine. Work is steady, and I think I'm starting to go to bed earlier. Both are good things.
