Dc Nation and coffee

So, here I'm talking about DC again...I just read Countdown #44 and in the last page, as usual, there was a piece of Dc Nation, DiDio speaking...or writing, as you prefer. He said that their plans for 2007 were "four funerals and a wedding"

Then he talked about the deaths of Duela Dent, Joker's daughter, of Lightray, one of the new Gods, and of Bart. His comment on this last one made me want to scream; it runs "Bart's death last week was particularly disheartening because his time as Tha Flash was so short lived". I say it was disheartening, period. And not because he was The Flash for a short period, but because he was a charecter I really liked. I liked Wally better as Tha Flash, that's true, but why kill Bart? Just to anger or piss fans a little more? They could have de-aged him or make him hand over Flash's mantle to Wally...but no, they had to kill him instead.
What a smart move!

The second thing that disturbed me in what I read is that Didiot (I think this fits him better) pretends to forget there's still one death to go, and talks about the wedding of Black Canary and Green Arrow. And then, saying he just did the math (jeez, you're didiot after all), tells that he doesn't want to ruin the surprise of the fourth death, because we're in the last months of this year and so we'll discover it pretty soon.

What can I say? I'm so tired of this killing policy, I don't want to guess who'll be next, I'd like to read good comics with great characters in them, and a good art. Is it asking too much? The sooner they quit writing most of the heroes out of characters or in bad plots the better. We really don't need other crisis or great events, just our beloved heroes.

So I close as Didio : good things come to those who wait. Fine. I'm waiting for the day he'll be kicked off from DC.

And now another quiz ^__^
