quick update:
~i dropped elementary education and am graduating strictly as a theatre major. so i may end up a starving artist but when youre only passionate for one thing you cant halfass your way through anything else just for the sake of job security. i think im smart enough to do this and im going to graduate in 4 years now. friends and family have been overwhelmingly supportive and there are more job outlets in this field than some tend to think. im taking some extra theatre electives next year in arts management, stage management, acting, dialects....and a bunch of other stuff that will hopefully enrich me and make me more marketable.
~life is getting better. i feel so in control of things and happy with where i'm headed
~interning is wonderful. slow and boring sometimes, but i'm learning alot and am becoming part of something wonderful
~volunteering at luna stage doing some script evaluations...trying to build my contact base
~theres some auditions coming up but i will keep my mouth shut unless i actually get cast in something.
~the secretary at caps is a fucking bitch and i hope she gets into a car accident.
~i miss my friends from campus who i never see anymore
~but i do love living off campus
~sometimes i wish i werent so idealistic and that i wasnt so old for my age
~listen to my radio show online www.wmscradio.com thursday nights 7-10 pm
~i love phone calls from people who dont normally call me
~i'm in an imaginary band called analagous baseball team. we're going to be the next big casino band....hypothetically.
