I knew, just knew, as soon as a pregnant woman appeared, that House would be delivering a child that night. How seasonally appropriate ;).

This was a nice, and very welcome, little bit of humorous escapism for me to enjoy. Wilson and House stuck in a minivan with with assorted trapped motorists, it is amazing no one died.

". "Mild-mannered farmer by day, traveling surgeon by night."

"That's what you could do," House says. He slants his voice into the same approximate drawl as Waltrip's. "You could just travel the west, deliverin' the babies for those in need."

Now that is something for brain candy. Wilson in a white cowboy hat, with his brooding companion in a black hat, delivering babies and having them named for him. :P

Heh. I'm reading this while stuck in post-holiday traffic (on a bus with wifi!). Now I feel like I'm getting off easy ;)

What a wonderful (and needed) X-mas gift! Love that House and Wilson (OK, Wilson) did have room at their inn. And I do like the idea of Wilson wandering the U.S. as a freelance ob/gyn, with House as his...bodyguard?

I think House would secretly love to be a bodyguard. I mean, he was pretty handy with that sword-cane in that episode where he was dreaming about zombies. :D
