Sun is out for the first time in about three days. Backyard is still pretty wet. The Black Prince tomatoes are finally ripening -- we've had two so far, and omg so GOOD. Real life kinds slammed you off onto a railroad siding last year. Your output is really astonishing these days. I need some of what you've been drinking. :D

All has been quiet today at the Halfway House. I did tell Corgikid to stop telling people that's where we live, since they're not clued in enough to get the joke.

Never had Black Prince before. Are they a type of heirloom? My tomato plants are growing nicely, but not too many blooms. I did plant a little late this year, though. Squash, okra, rattlesnake beans and purple hull peas coming from my aunt's garden soon. Already got some Black Angus from her recent butcher - yay!

Rain today, tomorrow, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday... I may take up ark building.

You have been putting out a lot of stories. And people like me are enjoying that a lot. :)

Yep, Black Prince is a Russian heirloom, like Black Krim. They turn almost purplish when ripe, and they're purple-red on the inside and so, so good.

Sounds like you have a great garden! We have lousy soil for growing anything but oak trees, so we have a container garden on our deck. This year it's just tomatoes and one lonely pepper (the other pepper seeds got washed away by torrential rains right after I planted them).

Mmm ... Black Angus!
