I feel as though I should be following the elections more closely, but at the same time, I know so little about the candidates, that any contribution on my part would be irresponsible and ill-informed ( Read more... )

"Homeslice"?... That sounds like some kind of food dish.

I'm inclined to agree with you. At first I thought perhaps it referred to a bread loaf recipe passed down by word of mouth, but I don't think that's quite right...

Well, let's see, if it's a slang word, and if it's like food. Maybe it's like giving someone a nickname, like "lambchop" or "sweetie pie"?

L-lambchop...?

Like a pet name. Yes, perhaps you're right.
If you follow that course of logic, it does make sense.

Sure, do you like pet names yourself? I tend to use them a lot.

To be honest, I try to avoid them.

Within the Oracle Knights it was always important to remember a person's full name and titles. I suppose the closest I ever got to using one was back when my brother and I shortened our names to make them more manageable, but I don't think that's quite the same.

By the way, I'm Tear.

Oh well, then I'll try to be careful then.

Pleasure to meet you Tear, my name is Wolf.

It's perfectly all right... I was only stating my own preference.

Yes. It's nice to meet you, Wolf.
Have you been in Paixao long?

Oh yes, I arrived not too long ago. It's quite nice here actually, compared to where I use to live.

I'm sorry to hear that, though I'll admit it's something of a relief to see one being so optimistic about the situation.

I suppose the city does have its advantages, though if I had the choice, I think I'd rather return home.

Well yea, I think most of us do want to return home. I do too, but only for one reason. That involves someone I care about a lot, but I think I still need time to think about that...

I suppose you're right, though only for one reason...?

If it's about someone you care for, you may end up doing a great deal of thinking and realize you still haven't come to any reasonable conclusions.

...I suppose you're right.

I have already made so many mistakes already. I have a lot of regrets. Let's just say that.

That's quite understandable. Everyone makes errors, most certainly when their loved ones are involved. It can be... difficult.

Hopefully, Virginia....she's the girl I'm worried about, will be alright. I'm mostly concerned if she is ok without me, but I don't want her to be angry if I show up again. So... Yea, conflicted, but I still do care about her.
